Family Movie Night: Tooth Fairy

I can't resist a movie with The Rock in it and one that works for our family movie night is even better! For the treats I got sweet tart squeeze for "toothpaste" and put them with toothbrushes (with strict instructions to not brush the goo into their teeth - ahh! The cavities) and made blue vanilla milkshakes and put them into mouthwash bottles (I got this idea from Heather Ann Mezler).

The kids loved the movie and the treats!

Thoughts on the Easter Bunny

My kids have never been huge fans of the Easter Bunny.  They love the baskets and gifts he leaves but they were always uneasy about talking to him or sitting on his lap.  We only have pictures from 2 years when they wanted (or were willing) to sit on the Easter Bunny's lap and one of them is V-girl alone... the K-man refused to go anywhere near him.

As we were driving the other week, this conversation took place:

V-girl: "Ommay, isn't it funny that the Easter Bunny knew we were going to Disney World last year and brought us stuff from our trip?"

Me: "Yes that is kind of funny.  That Easter Bunny, he must be pretty smart."

V-girl: "But how would he know THAT?"

K-man: "Because he talks to Santa Claus.  They work together."

V-girl: "Do they talk to the Tooth Fairy also?"

K-man: "Yes, they all talk and they work together"

V-girl: "I think the Easter Bunny is a guy dressed up in a bunny suit."  K-man agrees.

Me: "Why do you think that?"

V-girl: "Well it just doesn't make sense that a BUNNY could make it around the world to everyone's house in one night".

She is right, it makes much more sense for a grown man to hop around in a bunny suit and leave baskets for every child in the world, all in one night. *rotfl*

Aren't kids are the coolest?!  If only we still saw the world through their eyes.
