The kids were very excited for tonight's movie night. There must be something about talking chipmunks.
For the treats, I made Alvin's hat on cupcakes. For the hat, I used vanilla wafers for the bill and doughnut holes for the cap. I frosted it all with red frosting and drew on the "A" with yellow frosting. The didn't go on as smooth as I would have liked but luckily, it was still easy to tell what they were.
Personally, I didn't think this Alvin and the Chipmunks was as good as the first one but the kids thought it was great. V-girl really liked the girl group of chipmunks. And I have to admit it, they were pretty cute singing, "Single Ladies".
